I hope this is a okay place to put this..
First the lowdown..
I had a u/s at 12wks. to check for twins. Just my little bug in there:love, but they found a small subchorionic hemmorhage.
We weren't going to have another u/s, but my midwives let me know what the u/s dr. said about recommending another u/s. They say they "have" to recommend the 2nd u/s b/c of the rules they're under.
I've been told by one of my midwives it's probably not necessary b/c if I was having any problems w/ the subchorionic hemmorhage then I would know it (bleeding, and I've haven't had any but small spotting at 5wks.) and they're not worried. Basically all of them told me it would be for their own good to have a 2nd u/s. Another told me she can only recommend what they say.
We decided not to do the u/s until my appnt. today. I guess I'm confused. If it's not really that big of a deal then I really don't want another u/s. But if it'll be a good health issue then of course I want to have it done.
So finally to my point ;), I want to know if anyone has any experience with a subchor. hemmg. not being a problem and birth? Or if a midwife would know about this and could offer any advice? I wouldn't want to put my risk for an abruption or anything like that, but I would think that my midwives would of told me about a big worry like that. What I've found so far online is about worsecase senarios. I'm going to keep looking but would love some other advice. (I'll post this in PG board too)
Thanks so much for any help!
