I haven't posted much lately......lots of personal issues going on (nothing with dh and I). Today I have my GTT test. I am supposed to eat a really good breakfast about 2 hours before my appt. and then have blood drawn. Wish me luck! No nasty drink for me! I am 25wks. I really thought I had it at 28 wks with my others pgs, but I am willing to get it over with early. Hope everyone else is doing well.

If you all remember my last appt. from h#$$, I am nervous about seeing the nurse again. My dh is going to meet me there and I am planning on telling her I will not be weighed (by her anyway). I hate confrontation and am so emotionally thin right now that I almost canceled this appt. My dh pushed me to keep it. If she gives me any grief I think I will go bananas. I know I shouldn't give her this much power, but she touched on my hot button.

GTT is most reliable between 26-28 wks. FGood luck with your appointment!! I get to go argue withanurse about being weighed in 2 weeks. Thank goodness I onlyhave to see this dr.three times in the preganncy, hisnurse would give me an ulcer if I had to see her anymore ;)

Kathy, let us know how it goes. Wish I lived in Atlanta; I'd go with you and use some of my abundant hormones to deal with those lovely nurses. :)

Hugs to you and please let us know if we can support you in any way with the things you're dealing with.

Emily

EMily,
You are so sweet. It was fine! The mw had obviously talked to the nurse as she did a 180 with her personality. I go back in 3 wks and I guess I'll get the results then. I told the nurse I would not be weighed and she just said OK. My bp was through the roof! I hate confrontation and was really nervous about it. WM was great and doesn't care if I get weighed or not! YEA! Little one is up.....Kathy

Good, I'm glad! I hope the nurses continue to be better with you as you continue your visits. I am sure you'll feel much more comfortable the next time you go, because of how this visit went.

Off to visit our new library. It's a wonderful fallish day here, in the 60's and a bit windy....heavenly!
