All right, I'm very excited to finally feel baby kicking away, but DH wants in on the fun. When in your pregnancy could the kicks be felt by placing a hand on the belly? Thanks!

My 1st pg- no partner
2nd pg- 18weeks
3rd- 15weeks. I pushed his fingertips a bit into my belly, just where I was feeling movements. It wasn't until a couple weeks later that he could feel them regularly.

It's so exciting the 1st time your partner feels your baby! :D

Dh swears he felt kicks even before I did! I'm not sure if it was wishful thinking though. This was at about 18 or 19 weeks, I think. We didn't start feeling them regularly on the outside until about 21-22 weeks.

19-20 weeks. DH was listening to my belly and the baby kicked him in the ear.

with both pregnancies my partner was able to feel the baby as soon as i did. i think that's not as common though. the first was at 17 wks, the second at 15 wks. have fun with it!

Somewhere around 17 weeks, but I had to grab him when I felt it and he had to push a little and it was fairly infrequent. It gets even better when you're WAY BIG and you can just lay there and watch elbows and feet poke up like an alien! :LOL

My dH could feel the baby at five months each time.

That's the part *I* am really looking forward to . . . MIL has told the story of their roadtrip when she was heavily pregnant with DH--he would be still all day as they drove, and as soon as they found a hotel room for MIL to rest for awhile her belly would come alive; FIL would sit for hours and watch feet, elbows, etc. poke out all over the place! :LOL

I think it was 21 weeks for us... baby was having an active night. He interacted with the baby for a good 10 -15 minutes! Before that, I'd tell him when the baby was moving, but the movements were so sporadic, and dh doesn't have a very long attention span... :LOL

I think around 17 weeks for us. that was a little after I started feeling them, but not long after.

I don't remember with my first two, but last night was the first time DH felt the baby and I'm 18 weeks!

In my first pregnancy I started feeling movement at about 16 weeks (but wasn't 100% sure about it until 18 weeks), then I thought I could feel it very lightly on the outside around 20 weeks. My DH didn't get to feel the baby move until about 24 weeks though, because everytime I told him the baby was moving he was too slow to feel, or would feel it and because it was so light he didn't believe it. I think he was in denial that there was actually a baby in there :LOL I'm hoping to feel movements earlier this time since its my second pregnancy. I can't wait until my DH and dd can feel the baby too!

For us it was 19 wks. Doc said that the face is alot more sensitive. I told DH and that night he put his check up to my belly and our son just kicked him. It was priceless the excitement on his face I will never forget. So always try with the face first b/c Dh was always trying with his hands and never felt anything. Also with his face he voice is a lot closer for baby to hear and react. Good luck and have fun!
