It seems like this trimester is starting to pick up speed and time is flying by. I truly want to meet this little one...but not yet!! I feel like I am running out of time and I am not prepared. I still need diapers and to get organized and to do my holiday shopping before she gets here and...a million more things!! Maybe what is frustrating is that I have the time but not the $$ to do everything right now so I wait. And make lists! I am sure everything will be fine and by NOvember I will wish things were hurrying along and have to reread this post to make myself calm down but is anyone else feeling like things are moving along really quickly?

I know what you mean! I have so much to do, and not enough money to do it! We just moved to this house about 6 weeks ago and there is still tons to do (wallpaper removal, painting, etc..) not to mention building the diaper stash, getting all birth supplies ready, going through my mountains of baby clothes and picking out the gender neutral newborn clothes, washing and finding a place for them. Getting the kids prepared for the birth. Holiday shopping. Preparing meals for pp (or having a casserole party). Sigh....not enough time, not enough time.

Count me in on the S*** - I-still-have-so-much-to-do-but -no-money-to-do-it-with roll call!!!!
Like I've been trying to tell myself all along, babies don't NEED more than a clean bottom and a mouthful of boob. I mean if you sling them and they are close to you or skin to skin they don't even need to be dressed.
Happy, empowering vibes to all the stressed mamas and mamas to be !!!!!!!!

Speeding along here...my next midwife appointment is at 36 and half weeks!! I feel ready for the birth, but not with the "baby stuff"- still waiting on my shower in two weeks and going to cram in some shopping for last minute stuff afterwards.

After a first trimester that felt like the weeks lasted forever, I feel like time is quickly passing now. Of course, I hear that it quite often drags again from 37 or 38 weeks, and that after 40 weeks every day feels like a month or a year....

I'm making to do lists- must do before the baby comes, and "stuff to fill my days when I'm bored and impatient and waiting for the baby". I'm also trying to schedule lots of stuff around the due date (I actually have plans for the due date already), so that I am either kept busy or can delightfully cancel. Nothing would be worse for me than waiting at home for weeks wondering when it's gonna happen.
