Preggo brain breakfast

All night I was looking forward to a bowl of cream of wheat this morning. I was all ready to make it - even woke up a little early because I felt really hungry. So I go and boil my milk (yes, I was indulging) and I measure out the cream of wheat. It seems like a lot to me, but I figure that it's just been a while since I've made it. I pour the cereal into the milk and it instantly solidifies.

Why?

Because I was reading the amount of milk AGAIN instead of reading the amt of cereal to put in! You're supposed to put in like a tablespoon or something and I put in a cup. In doing this, I also used up all the cereal in the house, so we have no hot cereal now.

I felt like such an idiot!

There's the time I made grits just like that...but I wasn't pregnant. :LOL

My most recent pregnancy brain moment was when I was dumping dd's potty into the big potty...I dumped it in the big toilet, ran some water in it, and then dumped the water in her potty seat. I had to take it apart and dump it out and then leave it apart to let it dry (she didn't like that...kept saying it was "broke") ;)

This isn't funny, but I"ve just been breaking glasses and bowls left and right. We had to go out and buy more glasses cuz I've dropped all of them in the past few weeks!

And on the subject of potty seats, ds went poop in the potty for the first time last night!! We had a big celebration- but i never realized how nauseating it would be to empty it into the big toilet! Ugh, the pee is bad enough, but it really made me sick to clean it out.
