Just checking in!
Baby's heartbeat was in the 140's right where it's been, baby's size estimated by palpation is between 8 and 8 1/2 pounds (a little bigger than my last at this stage but expected), baby in perfect position for delivery (vertex and left occipital anterior), my bp was higher than I'd like, 130 over 85, and the best news is that my hemoglobin is up! I am not anemic anymore, the herbal iron liquid supplement taken with 1000 mg of Vitamin C is finally absorbing into my body. *whew!*. I am also ever so slightly dilated and effaced, which just means that whenever baby comes, that's less dilating and effacing my body will ahve to do then, so that's a good thing too. Last preg at 38 weeks I was 4 cm and 100%, but not quite that far this time. Ideally I'd like for her to wait till next weekend or somewhat into October, but I'd rather not go all the way to the 10th since she's already so big. My first was 37 weeks 2 days, weighing 7 lbs 5 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. My second was 39 weeks 3 days, 9 lbs 4 oz, and 21 3/4 inches long. I expect if I go to 39-40 weeks, I'm looking at close to 10lbs , and after 40, looking at between 10lbs and 11lbs.
I'm trying to be patient, and asking for endurance prayers and vibes with how overdue I feel (Im not, I just feel like I am, new symptoms, new aches, less mobility, etc), and trying to still do errands, laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. and to be a nice mama.
We think we've settled on her name, finally. Felicity Annelise.
