I've heard lots of great things about being in a "due date club", so I thought I'd give it a try! I'm familiar with mothering.com, but I really don't participate much.
I'm Melissa, mama to 3 little girls and a baby boy on the way. His due date is actually Jan. 1, but my 3 girls came 8-10 early each, so I'm expecting him late December...thus, why I'd like to join the December Forum!
Aside from being a mama, I own a cloth diapering biz (Ella's Diapers) that I run from home. My 2 oldest girls are in school, so Ella and I spend the day working on her namesake!
I'm a happily married semi-newlywed. I married the "love of my life" Kevin in Nov. 2004, and yes.... we did meet on eharmony! Life has never been better for me, and we are anxiously awaiting our new arrival. This will be Kevin's first child. He was married for 10 years before, but he and his wife were never able to conceive. His doctors said he would never father a child due to Sperm Agglutination. Guess we showed them! :LOL
I don't know what else to say about myself, so I'll read through a couple of the recent posts and reply!!!

Welcome! I'm due December 12, but with my history, you'll probably deliver before me :LOL

Happy third trimester, and we're glad you're here.

Welcome, Melissa!

So cool to have a Diaper WAHM on our EDD list! :) Of course, I'm a little :nut when it comes to cloth. :D Golly, what's in your stash???

Now... I've heard that a different father can often times impact the pregnancy and also how soon you deliver. Have you noticed anything different with this pregnancy?

Oh, and tell Kevin... nice work on the anti-agglutination. :wink

Golly, what's in your stash??? EVERYTHING!!!!
I've heard that a different father can often times impact the pregnancy and also how soon you deliver. Have you noticed anything different with this pregnancy? My midwife asked me about that too. She said she was really interested in it because she had noticed moms who came in with a different dad had completely different pg's than with their other children. My answer: ABSOLUTELY. This pregnancy has been from Hell. I was sick starting at 4 weeks and have been ever since. The severe nausea has subsided, but now I'm so bloated that I'm always on the verge of throwing up. I'm completely physically drained by 11am, and I wasn't that way with the other 3. I've been in stores before and seriously thought I was going to pass out from exhaustion. It's a good thing that I'm totally happy about this pregnancy, or I'd REALLY be miserable!!!!
nice work on the anti-agglutination Vitamin C, baby, Vitamin C. He only had to take it for 3 months- 1000 mg/day. If you know anyone with that problem, pass that info on.
