Nesting Already??????

Have any of you started nesting yet? I started a few days ago. Is it normal to start nesting this early in pregnancy? I didn't at all with my first but this time, I can't stop cleaning! I hate cleaning :irked: (it interferes with my nap time...grrr... :) ). I hope this doesn't mean baby wants to come early. Anyone else?

Ummmmm, yeah. On Wednesday I scrubbed our master bathroom from top to bottom, completely cleaned and re-organized our bedroom, and cleaned out our closet. I actually scrubbed around our toilet and tub with a toothbrush. Of course, I paid for it the next day....I could barely move! Today I'm going through dd's toys, deciding what to keep out and what can be put in storage or given to Goodwill. I feel the need to simplify everything.

It doesn't help that we are still moving into our house, and we have to get all of our things out of storage this weekend and find a place for all of it. Blech.

jeezy cheezy, I can't control myself! This week alone I've organized the linen closet, cleaned out the bathroom drawers, taken piles of stuff to Goodwill, and scrubbed the metal bowl things that hold the stove eyes! I'm only 23 weeks pregnant, isn't this stuff supposed to happen at the end? Maybe my body knows I'll be too busy with Christmas to do it then!

Count me in to the nesting group. I didn't do a THING when pg with ds - and this time around, I've gotten his room totally done - replastered all the walls, repaired the ceiling, sanded down his floor (for painting) - and that room has been completely finished!

I'm working on what will be 'our' bedroom now - the walls have been prepped for replastering and I worked for a few hours today in there.

I've also felt the need to get rid of the HUGE piles of tree limbs and stuff that keep falling all summer in our yard from all the storms - my dh had piled them all on the sides of our yard to deal with 'someday'. . .well, I had been asking all summer and he hasn't done it, so I've been working on it for about 1-2 hours at a time - got 4 very large lawn/leaf bags filled and many other limbs cut down smaller - that I will need to move out.

Yep, I'm definitely nesting. LOL

I wonder if it might be because of holidays and all the insanity then and that's why I want it done now, or maybe it's because it's just good weather for house cleaning and projects - not too hot, not too cold so I don't freeze or sweat to death. . ...

All the work I've been doing I shouldn't be gaining any weight, but the weight is still going on. . .sigh. . .
