Ok..soit's 7am...been up for an hour after a night of almost no sleep...get almost there and contractions...off and on all night...nothing is helping.
I am too tired now...of course since I got up contractions have completely stopped...grrrrrrrrrrrr..........these contractions better start doing something...I need rest.
I had to pee, then felt nauseated, came down and made toast..now I feel better that way anyways.
There is a beautiful mist over the back field...I can just pictures fairies dancing out there...I bet they are the ones tricking me...darned fairies :wink
It's so frustrating...I am trying so hard to relax but without sleep it's nearly impossible.
Maybe I will lay down on the couch and see if I can catch some zzzz's. Or maybe I am better off and should just make some coffee.
This is driving me :flipped

I sooooooooooooooooooooo commiserate.
My cold is now a sinus infection. I'm drowning... absolutely just drowning. I can't lay down without coughing like I have just breathed in a swallow of water... I cough, and my uterus bunches up, and the muscles cramp up around it. The baby moves around, and I end up leaking, and having to run to the bathroom to pee... And when I've been coughing for a while, I swear I feel like my birth canal is going to turn inside out.
I have on and off practice contractions for several days, and those will wake me up.
Laying on my side produces sharp shooting pains down my hip and thigh, and my hand falls asleep.
And I woke up with a cold sore, this morning, on top of it.
I'm done, now. I want the baby worldside, now. I don't do pregnancy well the way a lot of women do, and this week is just about to kill me.
:bawl
Due date in a week and 2 days, but it doesn't feel like I'm anywhere near labor. I really don't want to go three weeks more... Not if my body's just going to heap one more stupid thing after another on me!

Allgirls, i am so sorry you are so miserably tired. I think it is totally bizzarre tho' as you sound almost like what ive been going through! Really brings home the fact that whenever i will go into labor, there really will be other women going through exactly what i am somewhere else in the world!
I was up every hour just needing to move as my waves were hitting nonstop. So i would get up and pee and try to get back to sleep. I did this from about 1 am til about 5:30 am when it just became unbearable. I was wondering if it was just really really bad indigestion as it didnt feel like the back labor i had with dd. So i got in the shower and havent stopped moving since. The movement has made the waves much more bearable and they are about 15 mins apart, but dont have much umph to em. So most likely its nothing! So now my house is clean, cookies are made, sheets are dry and on the bed and its 7:19 am and i have nothing to do but roll around on this yoga ball while my fam sleeps.
Moving on, you must be worn out. I am so sorry you are miserable too! Keep up the good work of cooking you sweet babe!

Wow, it's pretty crazy that so many of us are in this boat. It's 7:34 right now, I just made some oatmeal after giving up on trying to get back to sleep. Usually, I lay in bed and go right back to sleep after my every two hour potty wake up call. Not last night. I went to sleep at around 1 in the morning, as I had contractions off and on all night last night, and though they were not regular, they were definately new and uncomfortable.
This I guess would be my second bout of false labor, but this time my dh was able to practice the breathing and relaxation techniques with me. It was really cute actually, he was really excited and counting the contractions with me. I tried not to let him get too excited, and didn't even let myself entertain the though that it was really it.
Deep down though, I was really hoping that it was....
Alas, we shall have to wait a bit longer then.
Allgirls, I'm sorry you're feeling nauseous, that really sucks. I hope you feel a bit better. Even more so, I hope you can get some rest.
Movingon, that sucks for you too! I'm sorry to hear that both of you are feeling so "bleh" this morning. I hope you feel better as well.
Akamommy, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you, but that's all I'm going to say. I'm tired of being jinxed, so I'm not going to jinx you! ;) Let us know how you feel later, good luck!
Anyway ladies, good morning. :)

Sending happy healing thoughts-- try to get as much rest as you can. Do you have a recliner? I've been using my son's bean bag chair to prop me up in bed.... :heartbeat
Hope you feel better soon!!!

Aww i'm sorry :( I had that the couple of nights before Lochlan was born. It was awful. I'm really hoping to avoid it this time since i've had soo much pre-labor that hasn't been like that.
Tonight we're going to the park for Kieran's birthday & I'll be running, jumping, playing. Then once the kids are asleep I'm making my husband help me out. Maybe we'll follow our pattern. . . lol (look at #1 & #3's birthdates in my sig)

Oh Mamas,
I wish you all rest. I was up all night too....ended up watching a bunch of Dolly Parton movies until I came to bed at about 8:00 am.... strange days these last few weeks.

Wa-hoo! I finally got to sleep! I was able (at last!) to take an hour and a half long nap! Ironically enough, it was our really uncomfortable futon that did the trick. Our really comfy bed just was NOT doing it for me. Ha, go figure!
I hope you all got some rest as well, or are in the very least, feeling a bit better. I'm totally sending good vibes your way!
