I am curious how much weight you have gained this far..
If you have given birth, just tell me the total weight gain before you give birth. I am just curious...
(hopefully I am not the one with the most weight gain.. I read Sept ddc, most of them just gained around 15-20 pounds, that scared me a bit! :innocent )
Btw, I am 36 weeks and have gained 33 lbs.

I'm at 37 weeks and hve gained 19 lbs total. 2 of those lbs were gained over the last week, so I could reasonably gain more. Since I was a bit curvaceous to begin with, 15-25 pounds is considered safe and normal for women of my shape.
I started this pregnancy [or rather, the day I got a positive I weighed..] at 186. Then I dropped down to 179. Now, at 39 weeks, I am 217.
With my daughter, I started out at 159 and when I gave birth, I was 215.
I am MUCH happier this time around. I feel much healthier and I know my weight gain is much healthier than it was with my first pregnancy!

I've gained 29 pounds. Twenty-three if you account for the weight I lost during the first trimester. I've actually gone down three pounds, though I've no clue why. This was at 37 weeks; I'm 38 now.

I'm 37 weeks and have gained 25 pounds. That's what I gained in total with my daughter, who was born right at 38 weeks.

I've been holding at 27-28 lbs for the last 3 or 4 weeks. The gain has just leveled off almost completely. I gained 66 lbs with my last pregnancy! :blush

I am 38wks3days and have gained approx. 33lbs...I was up about 15lbs before I got pregnant from my ideal weight.
So after this pregnancy I think I will have to lose about 20lbs of fat...I usually have 40lbs gone by 6wks pp(at least with my other children I did)
I am hopeful it will be the same this time..breastfeeding really helps me lose the weight...I think I am meant to gain around 35-40lbs in pregnancy.
If baby comes soon I will have nice fall weather to walk in with the kids..that's what I am hoping for!

uhoh looks like I'm the one who gained the most :( I've gained 70 lbs! weird thing is that I've been eating 10x healthier than I did before I was pregnant, the only things I can stand to eat are pure foods, anything greasy or processed makes me sick. Plus I'm carrying very small. I don't look like Ive gained 70 lbs at all. I guess when you're 5'10" theres more space for the weight to go so I don't look as big. I guess it's because of a huge lifestyle change, before I was pregnant I would walk at a minimum 20 miles a day (I was a horseback riding instructor so I would walk in circles for 12 hours a day following my students plus I gave them exercises to do on the horses and I would do them with them) and then get home and either run or use a rowing machiene. Now I'm a web designer so I can work at home so all I do is sit all day. I still get out to walk 2 miles a day, but it's nothing compared to what I'm used to. I'm definatly going to have to kick my butt back into shape after the baby is born.

You are so tall. I think it's true that tall people can/will gain more in the pregnancy (my mom said that). My mom is only 4'10" and she never gained over 25 lbs in when she's pg. I am 5'3".. she said I should gain around 30-35 lbs.
You are much taller, so.. I think you can carry that 70 lbs! :wink

I gained 46 pounds this pregnancy! I've lost 15 since the baby was born :thumb I gained 37 with my previous pregnancy..and I am a much healthier person this time around...exercised a lot more, ate really healthy food for the most part but gained more. I was already overweight when I started and now I'm the heaviest I've ever been but I know I am healthy otherwise and that once I recover somewhat it won't be too hard to lose weight if I take care of myself, exercise, etc.

Thanks! That actually made me feel a lot better. I didn't think that I looked huge, but my God 70lbs is a lot of weight! I've always weighed a lot more than people think I do, my normal weight is 165 and for me that's not overweight at all. I've always been really tall and muscular from all the horseback riding I've done my whole life. (you can always tell a professional horseback rider because their legs are about 10x the size of a normal person's legs :D ) Just so long as I loose the weight after the baby is born I'm not too concerned with gaining that much.

I've gained 40 lbs in 41 weeks. I gained 50 with my dd, so I feel pretty good about it, especially since it was gone fast.

I think I'm around 35lbs and I'm at 38w tomorrow. I never worry about it. As long as the mw says nothing I'm not worried kwim? It will be dealt with after baby is here :wink I'm not tall so it is a bit of weight ... It not a concern for me during pregnancy though.

I'm 38 weeks and have gained 25 pounds. Someone said the other day, "Oh my gosh...you're so tiny. Are your babies usually only about 5 pounds?" :blah :nut

i'm at 37 1/2 weeks, and i've gained 9 lbs.
That sounds like a really small amount, but i'm a big gal (5'6" and currently 185) so i'm probably "right on" for what the experts say, lol, and i'm actually measuring for 39 1/2 weeks; doc is stumped :P This is what i weighed when my last baby was born, but it was after a 25 lb gain. I gained 55 with my first child, but i only weighed 110 before i was pregnant with him--man, that seems like a lifetime ago!!!

At 38 weeks, I've gained 27 lbs, and will probably gain a couple more, I'd guess. I gained 30 w/the last one.

I'm 39 weeks, and again I've gained a ton. I'm not sure what my weight is, now, as I've decided that the scale is just evil. I know it must be about the same as with my son - around 55 or 60 pounds. All of it out front, as people tell me you can't tell I'm pregnant from behind.
Well, hopefully like the first pregnancy, I'll lose 25 in the first week, again. I can easily lose the rest with a little management and exercise. But I am jealous of most of you! :D
