My cats finally went in to get the snip-snip done today! I am SO looking forward to a non spraying cat. My male one has tested the limits of my patience lately. :irked: I can't believe they lived together for a year (male and female) and she didn't get pregnant! :broc: :banana :carrot

I'm so happy I could cry!

I thought once they started spraying, they didn't stop? That's why we always get our males fixed right away. I actually still haven't gotten our female done yet (don't worry, they ALWAYS stay indoors, and never get out-- in fact they freak when we open the doors.)

I would have gotten him fixed right away, but I had to wait months for a voucher in the mail, and then booked the soonest appointment I could. The vet told me that he's young enough (not quite a year old) that he should stop spraying. There is only a 6% chance any cat will spray after being fixed, and she said it wouldn't smell like it does now.

All I know is, they are both home safe and sound.. and sleeping. :LOL

Ah, ok :D. We have always had boy cats, and we get them fixed right away. We do normally get vouchers though. Glad they are both home ;)
