So, if the only bra that's clean and still "fits" in a center-snap nursing bra whose snaps are getting weak, DON'T WEAR IT TO LECTURE. After a large gesture, you may find yourself hanging out with two popped snaps and your boobs wagging in front of a class of 20 year olds.

Just thought I'd share that tip....

Wendy, it sounds like your students are getting an eyeful this semester! :LOL

Oh the things they don't warn you about when you're still in grad school...

No, but I'm wearing a relatively thin shirt. Thankfully, it's not white.

EEEK!!! I teach 2 classes of 20 year olds - I'm sure glad that didn't happen during the lecture on human sexual response the other day, :LOL

BTW, Wendy, I'm in San Diego at a conference, but Dave's sent you a big box of maternity stuff, priority mail. Sorry I was so slow with it. Our dog knocked a bunch of the stuff I had set aside on the floor and drooled on it, so I had to wash it. Then, when I had all the clean stuff packed in a box and ready to send, he chewed up the box. The new box is finally on its way to you. No bras in there though, sorry...

Hmmm, my lecture was on symmetry....

LOL, Amara. Thanks so much for the box. I'll be looking forward to it. You're awsome.

You're welcome :)

If you're looking for recommendations, I have Bravado nursing bras, and they're great for pregnancy because they're an over-the-head, stretchy design. I got mine on the TP.

Thanks for the recommendation. For now, I'm doing the laundry :) I think I'm going to head back to birthandbaby.com because they had such great customer service and good info.

I got the box. Thank you sooooooo much! Wow, awsome.

I see you want a sleep sack for ds2. I've got a sewing machine and a pattern... Can I make you one? Flannel? Cotton? Fleece? Short-sleeved? Long-sleeved?

Great! I'm so glad you got the clothes and they'll work for you.

I'd totally appreciate you making a sleep sack for the baby, thanks! Long sleeve and warm would be perfect, perhaps flannel or fleece. It's cool at night, and I don't want DS to be cold.

Alsooo, does Karen have any wool longies she's outgrown? I need to find some for Ethan for overnight. I think his refusal to sleep under covers, and consequently getting cold, is contributing to him (and me) not sleeping very well...

Thanks :)

Karen sleeps in flannel for that reason.

I've got 2 pair of longies. Both were made before I discovered that I was purling wrong, so the workmanship is, well, appropriate for hand-me-downs. :LOL

One pair are kinda short -- how tall is Ethan now? They were a little on the short side in the spring when Karen was ~35". The other pair should be fine. I'll send 'em off. I'll just want them back before DS is 2...

Great, thanks! Ethan is about 36", I think. And of course I'm happy to return them to you later :)
