I will try to describe this the best I can. And someone please tell me if it is my computer, or if others are experiencing this as well.

On the main forum page, where you have the "Hurricane Katrina", "Welcome to the MotheringDotCommune", "Parenting", etc. categories, each section shows the title of the most recent thread to have had a post.

For example, in "Child-Led Weaning", it shows "so, nonbreastfed kid says to...".

BUT, when I click on "Child-Led Weaning", there is NO thread with that title!

Next to "Breastfeeding Support and Advocacy", it says "Elisabeth on 'The..", but when I click on "Breastfeeding Support and Advocacy", no thread with that title shows up.

Next to "The Case Against Circumcision" it shows "if you are anit circ and...". I click on the forum title (The Case Against Circumcision", the thread is there, but is not the first (non-sticky) thread. I had just "refreshed" the main forum page when I noticed this, so it isn't a case of the page I'm on being outdated.

Can anyone else reproduce these, or similar, results? Or is it something strange with my computer?

Thanks for looking into this!

I'm not sure what the problem is on your side, but I'm not having any issue myself. Anyone else?

Here's my take - When there are more that 1 boards/forums (what's the proper term?) listed together in a group on the main page, the featured thread to the right is the most recent one posted on in that whole grouping. So with the circ example above, maybe that thread was in the circ archives instead of the main circ forum? Clicking on the title of the thread though will take you right to it. Does that make sense to you?

Have you tried clicking on that thread and seeing where it takes you? Perhaps they are older threads?
