View Full Version : I can't quite believe it myself yet, but...

I got a :+ this afternoon!!!

We started GIO every other day after my last period in September (sorry, TMI I know), and I guess we timed it just right, cause apparently I'm pregnant - we're absolutely thrilled, and feel SO blessed that it has happened so quickly for us. Now, I'm just thinking healthy, "sticky" thoughts (My good friend who had in vitro and got boy-girl twins after 2 years of trying said for the whole first 3 months of her preggo she thought "sticky" thoughts and ate "sticky" food :D ), so I'm jumping on that bandwagon...

So, hi everyone! Hopefully I'll be here for the long haul. DS was a surprise, and I wasn't nervous with him the whole pregnancy - for some reason this time feels different already...

Nice to "meet" everyone! I'm going to look through some of the recent posts to get to know who everyone is. :grouphug

Thinking sticky thoughts and eating sticky food - hey, whatever helps, right? I'm still peeing on hpt's every morning because I just "need" to see a positive come up :innocent

Oh, hee hee, she meant food like oatmeal, ribs, mashed potatoes...you know, 'stick to your ribs' food - it was more a cute supersition than actual science...but I would be interested if anyone else knows about "sticky" foods...hmmmm....

...and funny you mention pineapple - I couldn't even think about pineapple or strawberry and not want to toss my cookies with my DS...but the thought isn't revolting me right now - already this pregnancy is the opposite of my first!
