Slow Loading Pages, again

I'm having trouble with MDC only again. The pages load so slowly it seems as if they are getting hung up. I asked about this a while ago and got a suggestion of changing some settings on my pc or something that worked but I can't remember what it was that I need to do. I don't have any firewall or virus protector.
