I think it represents the phases of the moon - waxing, full and waning or the three phases of womanhood - maiden, mother, crone. It always reminds me of Goddesses. :love

I asked this once and was told it symbolized the cycle of the moon and being a Pagan. It was up in the "what does DD mean?" thread.

That's correct, it does represent the three cycles of the moon. Often used to represent those of pagan faith.
