i have lurked on this forum many times, but this is my first post! just wanted to share a thought i had in the middle of the night the other night - my ds, who is 3, was having a cranky restless night, very rare!, kind of whining in his sleep, so of course i woke up and thought to myself - ug, one of the dangers of co-sleeping - here i am awake!!, then next time he started to make noise and move around, what i realized is that, no, this is not a danger of co-sleeping, but another benefit!! i am an anal mom who, if he were sleeping in another room, i would have a monitor, so i would have been awake anyway, only i would have had to go into his room to check on him!! huh- just another benefit!
now, if i could find a benefit to the fact that some nights he decides my long hair makes a great blankey and tries to take it with him when he turns over that would be great!!!!!!
