When did your babies switch from two naps to one and areound what time of day do they sleep?

DS made a slow transition to one nap between 13 and 15 m.o. (some days taking one, some days taking two naps). Now, at 15 mos. he has been consistently taking one nap. He takes it between 11:00 and 12:30 and it lasts 1.75 - 2.5 hours.

This seems almost too crazy still for me to believe myself, but my 9 MONTH (!!!) old daughter semi-regularly has only one nap a day now, and without being cranky. She'll have a super long power nap from 1-4, then goes to bed sometime between 7:30 and 8:30.

With my eldest DD, it was much later - - certainly after her first birthday.

Dd was taking only one nap way before her first birthday. For dd (1 1/2yo) her current schedule is go to bed at 8:30 and wake up at 6:30-7 am (with roughly 2-4 night feedings). She naps from 2-4 pm roughly (after I get back from work). She still nurses to sleep. I have never put dd on a schedule. I have just followed her and let her guide me w/ her sleeping patterns. She will occasionally snooze earlier on the weekends when I am home (around 11:30), which throws the whole day off w/ lunch and all :nut

My son, now 18 months, dropped to one nap at about 10-11 months. He was ready a month or so before that but I just couldn't adjust to it. I was unready to let go of that extra down time for me. But, it was obvious we needed an adjustment. It was taking me 1.5 hours to get him to sleep for both naps and night time. I would rock and nurse him and it was so frustrating sometimes I just wanted to toss him :( So, instead of tossing him I helped him go to one nap and he passed out quickly and slept well and everyone was happy!
He sleeps from roughly noon to 1:45 or 2pm every day.
Goes to bed between 7:15 and 8pm. Sleeps til 6:30-7:30 am.
Switching to one nap was the BEST thing ever!!

Wow! That actually sounds heavenly! :)
