Today was one scary day for me....luckily everything turned out all right. I had my ultrasound today, drank all the fluids like I was supposed to etc. Got to the office and had to wait for like 15 minutes :angry I was dying! I was in soo much pain I was about to cry. The wonderful ultrasound tech was like if you have to go thats ok go. So I went...and of course was totally spotting bright red blood! I just about cried. but I guess to best place to start spotting is in the ob office right? She did the ultrasound, both external and internal....and YEAH! healthy baby with a 121 :heartbeat measuring 6 wks 1 day :D I just about started crying. The tech was sooo wonderful (I had her with my daughter as well). She even gave me a picture of the little grain of rice baby...and pointed out the heartrate etc. The bleeding stopped there in the office and I havent had it since. Thank goodness! The dr isnt too concerned, I go back in three weeks for another ultrasound to double check, but he didnt think much of it. YEAH! So I have a nice excuse to relax for a while....and it was kind of a wake up call for my mom....she admitted she wanted to be excited about the baby, but because of our past marital issues and money etc she is worried.....but she is glad everything is ok and I know will be coming around even more. :) Anyhow...just had to share...I will never complain about ultrasounds again! Without it I would be in the "not knowing" stage and just miserable...some technology is wonderful!
