Anyone else with a Paragard IUD?

I got my IUD about a month ago, and I know they told me I'd probably have heavier periods, but I am soaking a Super Plus Absorbancy Security tampon every 1-2 hours, is that normal? Before It was about every 4.

WOW! I have a Paraguard IUD in(for about 6 months now) but I haven't gotten my first pp period yet. I've not had any cramping problems at all.

I got mine 2 months ago and the period was fine. Havent had a second one yet.
I was told though that the periods can be really heavy and painful for a few months. I was told to use advil ever few hours to slow the bleeding. Maybe you should call your health care porvidor if you are worried or feel weak. Good luck.
p.s. I love mine, no hormones, no worry, and i never feel it. :lol :bouncy

Mine are heavier, but they were very light before. I heard that after a few cycles, it's not as heavy anymore. I'd check with your doctor to make sure, you may need extra iron to keep from getting anemic.
