DH and I waffled around for the past 2 years -- should we have another one, or shouldn't we? We tried on and off for awhile and finally decided that we really were done having kids, and DH had a vasectomy last week. And I apparently got pregnant a week before that. :eek I'm due early July.

The turns life takes, huh? Part of me is thrilled, and part of me is completely, absolutely freaked out.

I hope everybody is feeling great!

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is crazy! Congratulations....it was meant to be, huh. What is DH thinking??????? Freaked out too, I bet. Maybe that is why we have 9 mo....to prepare ourselves and to get unfreaked out :D .

I think that is the coolest thing I've heard in awhile!! At least you don't have to worry if that vasectomy was a mistake.....you got that last baby you'd been contemplating anyway. We weren't going to start "trying" until next spring...oh well, even the best laid plans can go off track!

Hi. I'm sort of in the smae boat. My partner and I started trying in August. We decided to stop trying 2 weeks ago until nearer the time of our wedding in June next year. We found out I am pg lat week. So now we are gettin married in August instead. That'll give a whole month to get back into shape. I can do it though, I did with my other 2. Plus I'll be bf so that'll help loads. Anywho, we are still excited as now we don't have to wait. Good luck to all in your pregnancies. xx

WOW.....I have heard this happening to others, as well....What is even crazier is getting pg some time after the dh has the vasectomy.... :o

Thanks everybody for the congratulations. Fortunately or unfortunately, this pregnancy didn't "stick." AF arrived just a few days after I got three positive tests, so it wasn't quite so meant to be after all. I've had quite a few very early miscarriages like this. The emotional roller coaster is more than I can handle and I'm glad I'll never have to do it again!
