I need help (in more ways then one :wink ) I have a 4 week old & she is THE loudest little bundle of joy at night!
I nurse her laying down. She zonks out....then it begins. The grunting, tooting, growling & flailing. I know she is gassy. I try burping her & nothing. I swaddle her to cut down on the flailing.
She is never like this during the day. I am at a loss. She will grunt & grown for hours. Sometimes she wakes & cries, most of the time she doesn't.
I do want to sleep w/ her but the noise keeps me up. She is so loud my DH can hear her from the 1st. floor office!
Any suggestions? I am going out of my mind from lack of sleep! :nut
Thanks!

Gurl, you're gonna love me bc I have the answer for you. My DS might beat your DD hands down for loud sleeping. He does all your DD does plus his trachea is soft so he makes a really loud goose honking noise everytime he inhales....he barely cries but I was getting NO SLEEP :bawl . I was so tired that my flippin eyes were bleeding by morning.

It's all about the earplugs, baby! :heartbeat

It takes the edge off the noise but you can still hear when she is ready to eat, plus they tend to get kinda squirmy when they're ready to be fed so that will wake you up, too. Also, that mothering instinct thang will wake you up.

I'm finally getting sleep and it so rocks :bouncy . Just make sure you find earplugs that are comfortable for you and read the directions. My ears are kinda sore by the time I finally get out of bed but I don't even care.
