thread of the week?

i also like the "weekly chat" thread idea, too ... i like being able to keep up with everyone's day-to-day progress, thoughts, feelings, etc. in one thread each week, although i don't know if that would become unwieldy or not .... whaddaya think?

I like that too! The Junies do their question of the week in that chat thread, but I kind of like the idea of two separate ones. We can go with the majority, of course.

(I can't seem to stay out of the June board because I'm due so close to the beginning of July, and I'm still so excited :))

I like the idea of a chat thread and a seperate question thread. We could rotate through based on the order of due date sticky or make a list of volunteers.

I was just going to say, we should have the topic of one of the weekly questions be 'How did you get preg" Ok, well not the real nitty gritty of it! :lol More like were you planning, how long, were you surprised, etc. But then I realized that most of our surprise Mamas probably don't even know yet! heehee

well, it seems easiest just to go by due date on our "when are you due" sticky (good idea, paisley). I think 1stTimeMummytoLore is first!

I guess the weekly chat threads can just be started by anyone, right?

ETA - it looks like there might be lots of members, so we could probably even do two questions/week if the group gets big, so that we give everyone a chance. Is there really that much to talk about?

oh, yeah...there is always SOMETHING to talk about :lol . I have confidence in us. I think using the list of due dates for the question thread is a good idea and one of us earlybirds can start the sunday chat thread.

I have an idea for a question of the week. It's not super thrilling but I think it might be a good one to get things started. :)

i had actually been thinking of kate/1sttimemummytolore as first up ... i sent her a PM.

i'm thinking new threads every sunday? so the first threads would be put up tomorrow morning.

anyway, if kate's not around, i'll be happy to start things off tomorrow. i'll check in the morning and see where we stand.
