If you had to name one thing in your life that you are most passionate about (other than having your name spelled correctly :bag: ), what would that one thing be?
What is your idea of a balanced life?

Are you married? If so, for how long?
Yes, I will have been married for 4 years this December.
How did you and your dp meet?
We met on the internet. I was living in UK plannig on immigrating to Canada, and put an ad into on-line singles. But I was not really looking for love, just friends. Just someone I would already know when I get there. I was going to Canada as a nanny at first and hoping to stay there later on. But my DH replied to my ad, and I did not even wanted to answer because he was from USA. But I did and 4 months later we met. He was living in WA, about 50 minutes from where I was going to stay in B.C.! Before we met, we spent hours and hours on the phone. They I came to Canada and next day he came up to meet me finally. We almost did not make it though. If I would not have gotten my US visa I don't think we'd be still together. It was very difficult to spend time together without being able to go to his home, across the border. But I did get my visa and things got better and 4 months later we were married. He says he bought me for $20, which is basicly true, because it cost him $20 to get my email address.
Do you have other children? If so, tell us about them!!!
We have one son Sebastian, how turned 2 this past August. He was born at home, and we are excited that he is going to have a sibling. He is wonderfu boy. Here's a picture I just took today at our friend's house: Sebastian (http://jusspress.com/day.php?userid=4887¤tDate=20051109¤tTime=135301)

If you had to name one thing in your life that you are most passionate about (other than having your name spelled correctly ), what would that one thing be?
If I should name a hobby that would be photography, if it would be a character that probably would be "goodness". I like to fight for anything that's good in our lives. And usually it's for other people, not me. I am a fighter and I am also Aries, which explains it. :lol
What do you want to do for a living? Do you like it? What would you rather be doing?
I'd like to do some photography, but lately I have been thinking A LOT about going to school for homeopathy, but I have ZERO discipline when it comes to school, so I am not sure about that idea. :D
What is your idea of a balanced life?
Well, I guess I'd have to say being happy and always be and know who we really are and living up to it. Nothing more nothing less. The rest will balance itself out.

what's your favorite quote from any book, movie, or song?
There is not only one, there are dozens of them. The sourse is trilogy of books COnversations with God>
Here is few:
"Stop trying to figure out what is "best" for you (how you can win the most, lose the least, get what you want) and start going with what feels like Who You Are."
"You have no obligation in relationships. You have only opportunity. Opportunity, not obligation, is the cornerstone of religion, the basis of spirituality. So long as you see it the other way around, you will have missed the point."
"...Consciousness is everything, and creates your experience. Group consciousness is powerful and produces outcomes of unspeakable beauty or ugliness. The choice is always yours."

What country are you originally from? I am from Czech Republic.
What does Fockerized mean? :lol
Did you see the movie "Meet the Fockers"? So at one sceen the two families are talking about letting their child CIO - in other words - letting him to learn to sooth himself to sleep and then they say: "Well, didn't you do that with your son?" And Mrs.Focker said "No, we Fockerized him.....we kissed and hugged that little prince like there was no tomorrow." GREAT movie!! LOTS of messages about breastfeeding and co-sleeping, CIO and more.

This baby will be born at home, just like the first one.
My favorite food.....I don't really have one. Really. But I did fall in love with Whole Foods vegan chocolate chip cookies!! They bake them right there and they are so yammy!!
What drives me crazy? I have this thing about hearing people eating....you know when they are chewing and swallowing - even if they are not loud I can still hear it and it makes me wanna kill them!! Stupid I know but I hate it! I could pull my hair out. I can NOT eat at one table with my mom and her husband. They are all so quite and all you can hear is them chewing and swallowing (how the heck do you spell that word? :flipped :lol ).
Also what I hate is when my husband is sneezing!!! When he sneezes it's like 5 times in a row at least and it's SO LOUD!!!! :lol

Right now the biggest project is to clean up the leaves from our BIG backyard!! Seriously. Our house is our ongoing project right now too. Other then that no projects whatsoever. Gosh, my life sounds really boring!
What is/was your dream vacation?
It was not really a vacation but for me it counts as one. About 8 years ago I was working and living in UK. I always loved Ireland and I wanted to go there so I found this ad in papers that an old couple was looking for a companion to go with them to their vacation house in Ireland for one month. So I called and the lady loved me and hired me. So I went there for the whole month of August. They had this huge old Victorian house in the middle of nowhere! It was by really big beautiful lake and they had one Gypsy Cob horse (http://www.gypsyhorses.com/) that I also had to take care of. So all I was doing that month was cooking for 8 people which I loved (their 2 sons came over as well with their families) and riding a horse EVERY SINGLE day! It was a dream come true!! I was riding on these beautiful fields full of sheeps and big pilles or straw (it was a harvest time there) riding into a gorgeous sunset, around the lake; with NOONE around!! I was galloping, chasing the sheeps, the wind was in my hair, and it was absolutely AMAZING!! It really was the vacation of my dreams! The only thing I regret is not trying to ride him without a saddle - I always wanted to do that, but I did not feel brave enough. I am not the best rider after all.
Those were good times!! But I tell you even though it was a dream come true one month was enough. :lol Sometimes I wish I was single so I could do things like that again. :heartbeat

Count me in! My DH chews so loud that I won't let him chew gum or similar chew things near me... It's just disgusting! DH is super loud, he chomps and chomps and it drives me nuts! He thinks I am being ridiculous. I'll have to tell him that I am not the only one :)
And your dream "vacation" sounds wonderful! My Dad was born and raised in Scotland and we went back every few years until recently. I miss going alot and can't wait to share that with my kids. How lucky!

Nice to meet you! I just wanted to tell you I suffer from the same affliction: peoples' chewing and swallowing bother me to no end. I can not stand the way my dad chews and swallows and I hate that but I guess it is just something some of us suffer from. Good to know I am not alone! :kewl

Thank you everyone!! :heartbeat
About the chewing thing - my friend is psychologist and she says I'd be surprised how many people is alergic to stuff like that!!
She says it's because the way we were brought up - most people who can't not stand chewing were always reminded of the same thing by their parents. Or punnished for something like that....so we ourselves developed aversions to it.

Yes, it drove my mother crazy. I'm sorry that my boys will probably suffer from it. My oldest is already starting to hate it and even my spouse is more sensitive than he used to be.
