Does flushing mean anything?

I've been having flushing in my face for the past 36 hours or so. I am wondering if this is some sort of pre-labor sign, or just one of these oddities of late pregnancy.

I have heard that the chin and cheeks will flush before labor begins.... You may be close!

I've been getting really flushed in my face, too, for about the past week. Unfortunately at my appt. today I was barely 1cm dilated and 30% effaced. So if it's a sign, it's not a last minute sign! :down

My face feels hot and flushed when I have contractions, so I could definitely see how it would be related.

Unfortunately, I have NOT held my little Isa in my arms yet... I am just now beginning to get impatient! Of course, I am only 38 weeks so no need for rushing, but I have strong intuitive feelings that it will be a girl and that she will be born on Friday this week. Hmmmm..... we'll see!
