3 for me

Yea!!! I made it! My little Jaeana Denyse Carroll came in to this world and the whole thing was just "PERFECT" The labor was long but the birth was fabulous. This was truely a miracle from God that I has such a wonderful experience all around. I went into the hospital with my water broke and I was still able to walk around, sit in the rocking chair, pretty much have all the freedom I wanted to labor. I went as long as I could without an epidural but ended up needing one as the pain intensified too much for me. I took forever to dialate and once I got to 5cm wich that took forever I stayed there for most of the time until the last 2 hours. I thought for sure I would end up with a c-sec again but the Dr. was awesome . . . he wanted me to do it on my own and well at the end when we thought for dure my body is not progressing I went from 5 to 7 to complete and had a successful amazing VBAC. I was able to watch my little girl's head come out and hold her as we cut the cord and cleaned her off. I never experienced that before. With ds#1 they took him right away and all my family saw him before me (DH, my mom, dad, sister, MIL, and step-FIL) I was also only 16 1/2 at the time and had to deliver at the worst county hospital ever (horrible "service" sharing a room of 3 other drugged up moms and no one help me bf or help do anything) with ds#2 I had a c-sec that I was "feeling" the pain so I was put under general anesthesia and woke up in horrific pain so I didn't really see him for a few hours.

So this experience was a heaven-sent dream come true. I pushed her out in 2 pushes and now my little princess is home with her brothers and me and daddy and just loving life. She is amazing and feeding like a little pro, although thoroughly enjoying sleeping. I had her at 12:47am Sunday morning and went home Monday morning so that was great too. With ds#1 I had to stay 2 1/2days and with ds#2 being a c-sec I had to stay 4 days.

I am so excited that my little girl is here and I am happy to not be waiting for her anymore so to those who are waiting your time is near I promise!!! Thanks to all those sending me smooth birthing vibes!

(I WILL EDIT AND POST PICS TOMMORROW AFTER DH SHOWS ME HOW)

Wow, how awesome & healing & empowering your birth sounds! :heartbeat (I also had my dd when I was 17, in a similar horrendous, UN-empowering, traumatic environment). Congratulations!! I am SO happy to hear how positive everything was. :throb Welcome Jaeana!! :jumpers: :jumpers:
