Just curious what you do to prepare for birth/baby on a daily basis...herbs, yoga, etc.

I know I haven't posted here much, but I finally have time to focus on pregnancy thanks to some recent positive events in my life.

Every day I am trying to drink RRL tea, take my prenatal vitamin & Omega-3 supplement. I try to take at least 15 minutes to stretch and/or meditate. I try to take a walk every day. I'm trying to sleep as much as possible to recover a major sleep debt incurred over the last few months (don't know if this is really possible, but enjoying the sleep). We are trying to do some special things with DS while it's still just the three of us. Then there is the super long list of stuff I want to do before the baby is born that will never get completely done.

I am 33 weeks, so I'm pretty interested in those of you doing the 5W preparation. I was induced last time and am hoping to avoid it this time.

Sounds good, Nosy! Yes, I'm trying to get a lot of rest too. I'm a speech-language pathologist, but get off at 3 every day and spend good time with DS and always go to bed at 8! DH and I don't get much time together, but I really need the rest and I'm not good for anything (except fighting and complaining) after 8 these days anyway. I'm 35 weeks.

Here's what I'm doing-
1. Yoga once a week
2. Sitting on my birth ball often throughout the day
3. Hypnobabies CDs nightly
4. Eating galric with honey daily in hopes of GBS-
5. Drinking lots of water and eating good food (had to THROW OUT the Halloween candy- I have no self-control when it comes to Snickers)
6. Starting 5W next week
7. Starting EPO at 37 weeks
8. Drinking pregnancy tea or RRL every morning
9. Doing pelvic tilts at least once a day
10. Surrounding myself with only positive people and only doing things I *want* to do.
11. Trying to enjoy being pregnant and see it for the miracle it is.

(OT- number 11 made me think of this- I was thinking the other morning about the fact that since pregnancy changes are so gradual, I often don't *see* myself anymore, if you know what I mean. I mean, my belly is a miracle and sometimes I forget it! I was trying to visualize my umbilical cord, placenta, baby, and it is just so surreal to me (and this is my second!). It is a lot like thinking about the universe...I know it is there...I've seen pictures...but HARD TO BELIEVE! )

I am a slacker, but here is what I am doing:

Daily:
Drink RRL tea
Eat 2 eggs (Brewer's Diet)
Take Cod liver oil, prenatal, EPO.
Listen to VBAC preperation CD (Earth mama, angel baby)
Read possitive birth books
Have my quiet time w/God (which helps me be better mommy)
Drink Veggie juice
Water, water, water - I can't get enough!

Wish I was doing daily, but not...Yoga & eating healthier

Slacker here:

I'm taking my prenatals and walking every day. I drink a lot of water because I don't really drink anything else now. I sit on the birth ball when I think of it, but mostly I keep it put away to keep my 3 year old from throwing it around the house.

RRL tea makes me barf and yoga gives me heartburn.

No name.

No birth prep besides having brought the birth kit home from the midwives' office.
