No abnormal exhaustion for me yet and I'm 5 wks 5 days! But, for some it starts from day 1 and others it is never an issue.

I am only 5 dpo but I am so wasted by the afternoon that I can barely deny myself a nap when my boys take theirs... and then by the evening, I just am dead. I thought it was the week I had last week (busy and late) but I've gone to bed early for the past 5 days, taken a nap... still that strange all-consuming exhaustion. Most people seem to say 4w or later though and I'm way too early for that. sewaneecook you know people that were from day 1?

I went to yoga last night and it was like prying teeth, my body was obviously not doing well (tired or fighting off sickness?), I felt like a lump on a log - I do okay in the am but by the afternoon... it is a sad state of affairs.

Thanks for the input, I just don't remember this quite so early before so I was wondering if I'm imagining or wishing instead. Thanks...
~Julie

Jumping in from the May DDC. I was exhausted and cranky from day 1. It got worse when I found out, but that's cuz I quit smoking cold. Of course I didn't know why I was so tired/grumpy, but remember definitely not wanting to do much but watch DVD's and sleep, which is weird for me cuz we were on vacation at DH's family's cottage and usually I'm swimming in the lake all day or driving to every small town for thrity miles for farm markets and antique barns.

For me the exhaustion started about 3 days ago. By early afternoon I'm ready to crash, so DS' naptime is my favorite time of the day right now! (Oh, except for lunch time. And dinner time. And snack time. ;) )

I was more tired before I even found out, but it's just been in the past week that I need a nap and go to sleep by 9, etc. So that's about 5 weeks.
