the friend of the court work for satin!
I have been battling with them for almost six years to try to get them to enforce things on non payment of child support 13,000$ and the few times it is im the one that does the work, make phone call to the case worker and submit him letters- getting nowhere, then calling his boss and submitting her letters in both there voice mails "we do not return phone calls"this gos on for a month then thigs change for a while father gets called to court he has showed once and cried "i m doing the best i can." :blah :blah :blah judge says "keep up the good work" and sends him onhis way. " isay what good work!!!
i dont know how to deal with these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not going to say that I adore the FOC but I have found them to be pretty helpul and responsive, so long as the Dad pays. If the Dad doesn't work regularly or doesn't have an income withholding order-- it is next to impossible to get regular support. They do garnish known wages, take federal/state taxes, etc. I live in Oakland County, MI and the FOC here is very well-organized and well-staffed. It is my understanding that this is not the case in many areas in Michigan. I actually moved out of one county and into another because I wanted to have Oakland Co. FOC oversee my case. I am not sure that is an option for you. I am sorry that the Dad isn't doing his part. It stinks and it is totally unfair to you and your kiddos.
