what does every one do for their baby's and children's naps? My daughter will only sleep in our bed for his nap and I am afraid she will fall out. I try to sleep with her but I have stuff to do. Our mattress is so thick the bed rails are not hight enough? what does every one else do?

if your son won't nap anywhere else, how about putting your mattress on the floor?

I've just discovered an ingenious idea!
Basically, my special blanket and the floor with padding. We were having the same problems and have been struggling with naps forever. This has been working recently.
My dh is a cover hog, so I have my own auxillary blanket that I use which is conviently covered in mama-stink. When dh falls asleep nursing (or in the morning if she's still out when I wake up), I put my blanket on the floor and lay her on it, kind of bunching it up around her so she feels secure. Right smack dab in the middle of her room (Even though she's not a roller) with some soft music on.
She actually slept for 2 straight hours the other day and I got work done! It was great!:thumb
It's worth a shot.

When I just had one child, I would just stay in the bedroom. Sometimes doing chores that could be done there-- paying bills, folding laundry, making menus and shopping lists-- but usually just reading.
By the time the next came around our mattress was on the floor, and lots of time I would just put him on the floor near where we were.
