Hiya!!!!
I am looking for some mamas to hang out with. We live in Burnet County and are AP, homebirthing, homeschooling, non vaxing, non circing, veggie people. Ds's are 3 and 1 and don't really like the LONG drive into Austin. Anyone else out there???:)

are you talking about the highland lakes group that is based in burnet? i have read that they are christian based which doesn't suit us. i guess i am really just looking for some AP or gentle parenting people.......which are unheard of around here :(
........but thank you for replying!!!!!!

Okay, I have to say that you've given me a bit of homesickness. Our home base was Kerrville before we were stationed at Ft. Gordon. I so miss the rustic beauty of the Hill Country. Soak in that setting sun for me will ya. :crying:
BTW: Welcome to MDC!

Hi Whitney!
I think you are still pretty far from me. When we lived in Marble Falls, it was about 30 min to the intersection you mentioned near bee cave. we now live an additional 20 min from marble falls- even further away from you. Do you ever go into Marble Falls? We could meet at the park some day.

Hi Kate!
We live outside of Marble falls, which is just over an hour from San Antonio. What a bummer we don't live closer!
Sending you baby dust :)

san marcos is a cool little town. there is the river which you can go tubing down, and a great library that has lots of cool activities.

Hi Whitney - Well I'm not from San Marcos but to go to theoutlet if I HAVE to go shopping!!I'm more than willing to dive up to an hour to meet people! I had some woman the other day lecture me about the dangers of homebirth & how drugs were not a bad thing in labor & get this she was calling herself a doula! ugh! Why can't people be more like us!!!:LOL
So I really would love to be able to meet more people & get more views on things before I have my own!''
Nicole thanks for the baby vibes!

whitney -
I think I live very close to you - off Cuernavaca about 5 minutes from intersection of Bee Caves and Hwy 71. I woud love to meet! I have 19 mo old Heidi who loves other kids, but like you, we don't get out much. It's just too hard to get into town for an am mom's grp or storytime.
We're vegan, cd'ing, non-vaccing, etc. It'd be so nice to meet similar.
I'd also be into driving out to marble falls for playdate with ixalia if y'all set a date. You can PM me or email laurachristena at hotmail.com
