...actually palpate a baby yet? I mean I can feel it kick me from the outside, and I can see my stomach moving, but I can't actually press on my belly and feel anything in there. The poor baby, I've been poking and prodding it every day. I prod and he usually kicks me somewhere after that, but I can't say that I feel anything when I palpate but soft squishy belly.

My girl likes to ride low in my belly sometimes and when I'm in bed, usually in the morning, I can feel her body. I don't know *what* I'm feeling but I know it's her! :)

My midwife and her apprentice were both able to yesterday--the head was up along the right side, with the body along the right side, too. His/her butt was up pretty high too, so they think there's plenty of space to float around still. Last pregnancy, they taught me how to find the head--it's a harder rounder lump than the butt :)

I am able to palpate the baby, I don't really know what I am feeling yet but when I lay on my back in bed I can feel baby parts.

I saw my midwife yesterday and she was able to, but I'm just guessing where everything is based upon where he's kicking--but he likes to lie sideways right now so it's easier.

Yeah, i can palpate her head if she is not head down, and I know where her back is. I can't feel arms and legs yet, but they are still tiny, heheheh.

I'm 24 weeks, and I can palpitate and feel baby, but I don't know yet what I'm feeling! Medwife that we saw at 23 weeks couldn't tell, either. I'm hoping that when we switch to our real midwife in a couple weeks she'll be able to tell what is where!

When I get braxton hicks I can really tell that there is a baby in there, and it always surprises me at how much smaller it is than it seems. Right now it feels like baby is taking over in there! But it's still fairly small.

There are also times where all I feel is squishiness... guess it's hiding!

Yep, I can feel his back & head. I can see kicks from the outside. Maybe it's easier to palpate second & third pregnancies?

I can feel hard lumps, when I lay on my side, but I have no idea what is what... I wonder if/when I will be able to tell?
I can see kicks from outside too! too cool!

I can feel the baby as a hard little lump, but I haven't really tried to make out specific parts yet.
