I have been searching and trying to figure out what r the best ways of advertising in philly as a Lay homebirth midwife w/o being TOO public. its hard trying to find women in philly who r interested in having a home birth. Am i wrong??? I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to go about getting more births here in philly? i KNOW that we have Some homebirthers... But WHERE R THEY! I have not had yet ALOT of clients... btu its bc i cant seem to find any?! I am even havin a hard time trying to advertise as a doula. I have gotten referrals as a midwife and doula... but i think the ppl who knew each other dont know anyone else pregnant right now who understand enough about homebirthing and having a doula. I want to have a seminar soon but of course that will be months from now.... What can i do now?? Suggestions?????
