BOY!!
Benjamin Tyler DeLaurentis was born at 4:21am on December 4th...his DUE DATE!!!
Stats:
6lbs, 10.5oz (1lb less than Bethany)
21" long (exactly the same length as Bethany)
I'll post the entire short story tomorrow but quickly, I woke up at 1:50am w/ my first contraction, woke dh up at 2:30am...took a shower called my best friend to meet us at TBC to get Beth. In that hour I went from every 5min to something much shorter than that. We left at 3:30am in the middle of the SNOW!
Turns out I was in the middle of transition for most of the ride...pushing through contrax as we were going down the highway (we are 20min away in good weather/traffic). We got to TBC at 4am, our friends took Beth to their house to sleep as I stopped to squat through a contrax AT the door in the snow! We arrirved at TBC at 4:00 and Ben was born at 4:21am.... only 2.5hrs of labor from start to finish! Next time I'm thinking I am not stopping to shower!
Ben is nursing like a trooper and Bethany is very protective and in love w/ him despite the fact that he's a boy and not a girl..thank goodness!
I'm off to bed...I'll try and post more within the next few days.
