A friend recommended Bravado maternity panties to me, and I saw some at a local store, and got them. Well, come to find out I got the under-belly kind but she was talking about the full brief kind. I loathe everything under-belly so didn't like those at all. Finally I decided to order the full belly kind and I LOVE them! They fit without gaping or sliding or riding up. Very stretchy and soft. My only gripe is that they aren't cheaper, so I could only order 4 pairs of them. My friend said that they fit her through the end of pregnancy (and like me she got very big) and they worked great postpartum for a long time, too. Compared to all my other underwear attempts, these are by FAR the best fitting.
You can order them directly from Bravado's website or at various online stores.

I have some Bravado briefs from my last pregnancy. They really do last. The problem is that they aren't over the belly for me anymore. They are now underthebellyt and like you I HATE anything underthebelly. Urgh :irked:
I'm bigger than I was when DS was born( at 39w4days), and I have about 10 weeks left until my section so, I might have to go commando there towards the end :lol Bigger sizes slide off my hips. *sigh*

That's so amazing, how cool that your body is growing two little babies and we're all complaining about our "big" one baby bellies. ;)
Coolness aside, I'm sorry the undies don't work anymore, that stinks. Kmart has the best selection in my area of plus-size underwear. The french cut (hi cut) ones work best for me. They gape around the front of the leg openings, but briefs don't feel like they fit right at all.

the only underwear i have found to fit my plus size frame are ones from Lane Bryant. they are super stretchy and i got the ones size 26 (prepreggo size 18/20) and they come nicely over my now huge belly! i hhhhhhhhhhate underbelly stuff too as it feels like my bladder is constantly being pushed on!
oh well maybe someone will find those helpful if you are plus size, or even not regular gals could get the size 14 or so...

I know! I need to find my camera so I can take some new belly pictures. My doc wouldn't even tell me what I am measuring at my last appt. He just daid "Um yeah you are BIG- and let's leave it at that" :lol
I'm going to buy some sweats tomorrow- I'm sick of trying to find maternity clothes that fit my pre=pregnancy size 12 5'2 body and enourmous belly. I didn't turn into a football player just because I got twins in there! Nor did my legs grow 5 inches. :lol
the whole commando things isn't exactly attractive to me, however, I hate having the band of my underwear digging into my bladder.
I'll have to try lane bryant( except that I can't go to the mall anymore so I guess not)- and we don't have a kmart so I'm kindof screwed.
