Just found out!

I just found out yesterday that I am pg with my 1st child. I am 33 years old, and my dh and I have been married for 3 years. We just started ttc and are SHOCKED that it happened so fast! I am trying to keep it a secret from my family until Christmas! :raz I'm fairly new to this website and the idea of having a natural childbirth, so I have a lot of research to do. I live in the DC area, so if anyone knows of any birthing centers, books, etc. that may be helpful, please let me know. I am not sure of my edd, but I believe it will be mid-August.

Vicki - Congrats! Where in DC are you? There is a fantastic birth center/homebirth practice in Alexandria called Birth Care. THey do about 75% homebirths, the rest birth center births and have a great reputation. I would go to them in a heartbeat!
