I just wondered how many are here? Of course some feel like 3 is a big family so if you feel like it you can post too.

This will be my 6th child, 7th pg. Many times I wonder what in the world we were thinking but I know this child needed to come to our family so I'm trying to trust the Lord that things will be fine. With this child we finally outgrow our minivan and will need something bigger. My dream is an 8 pass Honda Odyssey but I don't think that will happen.

My oldest is 13, then I have an 11yo, 8yo, 5yo and 3yo.

I don't consider mine big yet, but I'll be adding #4. That qualifies as big for me. I don't know what I'm getting myself into, but people tell me that going from 3 to 4 isn't that big of an adjustment. I hope that's true!

One thing I know for sure, I'm sure glad that we bought that 8 pass Honda Pilot last year! Boy are we going to need it!

nfbmom- we have pretty much the same ages! Our children's birthdays are at the beginning of the year...By May we'll have 14yo boy, 11yo girl, 8yo girl, 6yo girl & 3yo girl.
We also will be outgrowing our minivan (Caravan) with this one. We have an older 15 passenger, but I don't drive it...we only use it if the whole fam goes out together (which actually doesn't happen that often)
I would LOVE to have a Suburban or Excursion, but I don't think that's gonna happen.

I consider this to be a big family. I belong to a local M.O.M.S. (mothers of many siblings) group...you have to have 5+ children to join. ;)
It's nice to have the support.

Glad to hear others are making this work.

BCmama, I looked at this post again to see what you have already. We have almost the same except my second is a boy. So I have boy, boy, girl, girl, girl.

Hello!! I am so glad there are others with as many kids as me. This is #5 for me. I have an 8 yr old boy, almost 5 yr old girl, 3 yr old girl, and 15 month old girl. :D

Is anybody else having lower back cramping? Is this more common when you have been pregnant so many times before?

LOL, we are expecting baby #4 here and when I told dh I was pregnant again he was worried people are going to think we are freaks of nature beacause we will be having a large family. Then he is worried about our vehicle. We have a 8 passenger expedition. We only have 5 in the family now, lol, so unless I am having more than 3 babies we should be safe for a while. What I wouldn't give for a hybrid vehicle though.

We're expecting #4. I'm not so worried with the fact that we are having four...just that #3 and #4 are going to be 17 months apart!

I think our families are going to think we have gone nuts!

We got a Suburban after #3 because she hated the car and I needed to sit next to her in order to get in the car to get anywhere...(dh drove)...I still sit back there! :irked:

I will be adding #4 to my family...so I guess I will then officially be a member of the "large-family group", lol. I'm a bit nervous about having 4, but I've heard it's not much different than having 3. I hope so!

This is only our 3rd baby, but we're planning ahead. We just went and looked at the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Only 7 passenger, but that'll last for a while!

I'm not pg again yet but wanted to let you know that I have six kids too! It's wonderful, most days :) My sixth baby was my seventh pregnancy as well and he was a twin. So many blessings! Good luck to you! :love
