What do you think? Do you just know what you're having?
Right now, I have been SURE this baby is a girl. I have no idea WHY I feel that way. I haven't had any dreams like I did with ds, but I feel like I know.
Anyone else?

I think mine is a boy. All I want to eat is meat and meaty stuff just like my last two pregnancies that ended in boys. Plus a few days after conception I had a twin boy vision. I really hope that was just a shadow I saw. :lol

Prince - wow twins! I had a vision like that with ds and I keep waiting for a vision with this one! :)

Well dh is sure this wee one is a boy. I am not sure yet. Usually I have a dream or very clear, vivid vision of the babe :throb . Haven't had that yet. Though I keep thinking there are 2 little souls, though today I feel so not pregnant it worries me :innocent . I suppose it is certainly a possibility of twins as this little one was conceived with clomid... :blah .
anyway, I'm not sure yet. :bouncy

It seems many of us are thinking twins! I really have no reason to believe I am pregnant with twins, no visions, no family history on my side, etc. But, I have thought "twins" since before I conceived and my hcg #'s were normal but high - so that even more firmly grounded me to the twins notion. But, i have an u/s next Friday, so I'll know more then.
mamabears - i don't think the lack of symptoms should worry you. I have minimal symptoms, though my bbs are getting tingley and I know that means sore isn't too far behind :)

I think I'm having a girl. But that's probably just wishful thinking . . .

me too :)
of course, with two girls already I guess the odds are in my favor....and I have a $50 bet going with my neighbor, and I don;t have $50....so it better be a girl :nut

well before we even conceived and the reason we cancelled the BIG V we had scheduled was because I kept having strange moments where I'd feel like I left someone inside the house if I went out or upstairs if I went downstairs...it always felt like a girl..always
So, I'm 99% sure it's another girl. (I'll leave that 1% out in case I'm wrong :lol ). My poor stepson is the only boy cousin! :innocent

Prior to/right around conception I was envisioning a boy, so I'll stick with it. Although now I do feel it could be a girl. Also when we were trying to get pg I really was drawn to the ideas of twins and it was sounding like that was a great idea. Although I do not feel it is twins in any way right now...
Steph- I've read NUMEROUS reports on HCG levels and twins regarding the timeframe you had yours taken and they "say" there is no correlation at that point. But if you have a gut feeling, that's different ;)
So prince and steph will be our twins on this board, huh? anyone else? haha

Dh is convinced we're having another boy. I was sure at first that we are having a girl but now I am just not sure. I better not me having twins! :nut

Wow that gives me goosebumps. Like that little spirit was just hanging around you, waiting for her turn...
I feel like I am having a girl. Last time I was convinced it was a boy, and she wasn't...so I'm not very confident in my Mother's Intuition. But I've been referring to her as a girl. Who knows??

I would REALLY love a little boy. I am so sick of pink! DH thinks this one will be a boy.
I'm not sure...I *knew* I was having a boy last time & was pretty surprised at the 6mo ultrasound when they told me that I was wrong. :lol

I want to say its a girl. I have no grounds for that yet, though, so perhaps it is just wishful thinking. I'd be thrilled with a boy or a girl, but since I have a little boy - I have to secretly admit that it would be nice to have one of each. Gosh I feel guilty for saying that. I have not had any prophetic dreams. I have no morning sickness (I didn't have any with DS either), so there are no big differences yet to indicate anything. Still, I'm only on week 6. Maybe I'll become more certain as I progress. My husband said he thought it might be a little girl. Who knows? I just want a healthy, happy baby. :bouncy

BCmama, you sound so much like me! I can't remember what you told me you had but my last three have been girls and I am sick to death of pink, too. I keep saying this one better be a boy! LOL If it is another girl she might just have to wear primary colors! LOL
Oh, yeah, and I was convinced the last one was a boy too. 100% convinced. I'm thinking now it's because I knew I was done having kids and I knew I still had a boy that needed to come to the family.
That being said, I am pretty sure this one is a boy, but since I was so wrong last time I won't say I'm 100% sure.

I'm hoping that we'll be able to find out. Since long before I got pregnant with this 2nd baby I've assumed that I would have a girl then a boy. However, my daughter (26 months), who is the one who told us about the pregnancy, is adamant that it's a girl. One of us must be right!

I'm thinking boy, but I think it's just my preference at this point. Maybe I'll have a better idea later on.

I have no gut feeling either way, which I had with ds (he was a boy from the moment I saw 2 lines!). However, ds, who is still a very dedicated nurser, and who we have not told about the pregnancy, has told me, "share nursies with girl baby" so maybe it's a girl ...

I have no intuition about it yet. I have a friend however, that is convinced it is a girl. She has been right many times about other people's babies. She knew that another friend of ours was having twin boys before our friend knew she was even pregnant and she was right! She even thinks she is having twins even though she isn't even pregnant, and sometimes refers to "the twins" sometimes when talking about her kids. She's nuts :nut , but I love her!

I really couldn't tell you. Logic would dictate I'm more likely to have a girl given the possible dates of conception (or lack thereof!). But after 2 boys, I'll believe it when I see it! I'd really like to have a girl, but love my boys so much. The chinese gender predictor thingie said 'boy' both times, and says 'boy' again, so....even though I don't believe in those things at all, it's quite a funny coincidence!

This sounds so much like us! I also have felt for a long time I'd have a girl, then a boy. My 25 mo DD patted my tummy and said, "Baby in there, Mama. Baby brother." At the time I said, "no, no baby" but she was right! My dh and I both feel like it's a boy.

I'd be thrilled either way. :love

hmmmm, I keep looking and smiling at little girls so I think thats what this baby is. Last time I really wanted a girl but in my heart I knew it was a boy, and voila, there he was.
Krista: that chinese gender predictor is so off in our family! wrong for me, my mil 3x, and my mom, off once, right once. I didn't even bother to look at it this time! :lol

I have had 2 dreams, both of little girl babies. But a friend of mine at work did this ring test over my wrist chakra that is supposed to tell you the sex of babies you haven't even had yet. The first was in circles ( I think) for my dd. Then it stopped, then it went back and forth in a line for a boy for my next baby. I did it again for kicks just in case we have a 3rd and it said a girl. My friend at work did hers as well - boy, then girl, then boy (she has ds, dd and is ttc #3). Another friend's did only boys - and she says her dh's family has only boys - no girls for like 3 generations. Very strange.
In any case, my dreams say girl, I will truly feel blessed by any healthy child and have no true preference. DH would like a boy, of course!
OT - Karmachameleon - my dd sings that song! It is so cute to hear her (of course she just says "karma-karma-karma-karma-karma" but I know what it is!)
Just popping in from May list......Me and DH both had GIRL dreams the day my period was late.....but during this pg:
1) I went from almost ALL vegetarian to eating filete minion and pepperoni
2) have become very aggressive on the road
3) pimples on my chin (testosterone zone)
4) have been super frisky!
Sure enough, I just found out it's A BOY! I guessed again the morning of the ultrasound just to see how much I knew.....sure enough!
Anyway, it's definitely roulette! so good luck to y'all and hope you don't get too much morning sickness!!

I don't know!! I'm waiting for The Dream. :thumb
My mom had The Dream, too, for each of her five kids, and was right each time. Both my mom and I get a dream ( a single dream) early in the pregnancy about the gender. And it's always right.
With Lulu, I had only one single baby dream/vision the entire pregnancy! I thought I was so "unconnected!" Anyway, it was a long, long dream about the baby, her life with us, and at the very end, I wondered to myself, in the dream," is this baby a boy or a girl?" :nut
In the dream, I looked down at the baby's clothes and there were tiny frills on the striped shirt the baby was wearing. A girl!! And, lo and behold, it was girl. :throb The other thing I checked was her hair color. She had salt N pepper hair!! :lol My DH's hair is that color. Obviously Lulu ain't going gray yet, but she looks exactly like my DH and will probably end up with his jet black hair.
Interestingly, my mom said that the only child she got a confusing message with was my one brother: first she dreamed it was a boy. Then she dreamed it was girl. And, interestingly, my brother is gay. So perhaps she was picking up something unique about him!
Anyway, no dream yet. Will report when it happens.

I am sure this is a girl. I was sure the last one was a girl, and I was right. People keep saying it is a boy though. We will have to see if mother's intuition or majority rule wins out.

:lol, I'm right there with you! I have no clue. I had no clue with DD either--I really really wanted a girl, but I don't think I ever was sure she was one until my u/s!
DD wants a brother...DH and I don't care. :)

I think we're having a girl. My husband's family only has boys so everyone expects us to have boys but our first was a girl and because I'm a vegetarian my chances are supposedly increased for another girl.

LOL. I've been vegetarian for 19 years, vegan for 13, and I have 2 boys. And I have 4 sisters. Go figure! It would be nice to have a girl this time though!

I'm having a girl, I feel about 90% certain. I probably wont do an ultrasound to find out (we didn't know last time until the birth).
