I guess after having two MCs, its hard for me to to think positively all the time that this pregnancy is going to last. Here's my concern: for the last week I have been feeling sooooo good that I am starting to fear that I am going to MC again. My boobs don't hurt anymore and I am not experiencing MS anymore. My first OB appointment is this Friday and I am scared to death that we won't be able to hear a heartbeat. Sooooo......here's my question. Honestly, if the baby's heart did stop beating.....how long would it take for me to start spotting? I know this is a morbid and probably irrational question, but I am really worried and need some reassurance. I'm driving myself carzy with my thoughts :flipped

Sorry you're feeling worried. I'm also close to 11 weeks and feeling better. Maybe you're just getting out of m/s a little early? If you don't mind me asking, did you make it this far with your last pregnancies?

I'm hoping for you that this Friday is very reassuring. :fingersx:

The last two PGs lasted somewhere between 6-8 weeks. MY IF doc. did try to reassure me and tell me that at 9.5 weeks that there was a 5% chance of MC at this point, but it's still hard to believe.

:Hug I'm sorry to hear of your losses. My morning sickness is starting to let up already too and I saw a healthy little baby this afternoon at my appointment, so that's not necessarily a bad sign at all. I hope your appointment goes well on Friday.

Sorry you're worried. This is my first pregnancy and I've been going through similar worries. I'm 10.5 weeks; my m/s eased up last week and my breasts have also stopped feeling so huge and sore. My appt is tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that.

Honestly, if the baby's heart did stop beating.....how long would it take for me to start spotting?
I believe in most cases it happens fairly quickly, but it can vary quite a bit.

:fingersx: for you. Remember that the odds are in your favour. Everything is more than likely just fine.
