Has anyone else been tired again? I'm 28 weeks, and the past few days I've been really low energy. Not as bad as the first trimester, when I was EXHAUSTED all the time... but definately a noticeable difference from how I felt through all the 2nd trimester.
It could be the weather, or the fact that with my belly getting bigger I haven't been sleeping as well, but I wondered if this is to be expected from the 3rd trimester? Anyone else?

Well, from what I remember with my son's pregnancy, 3rd trimester sleepies is normal. Hormonal changes (as if the body is preparing for waking every 2 hours for a newborn and jsut getting that lighter sleep), body is having a heavier load of de-toxing at night and building lots of fat, etc for the baby, it all seems to add up to being more sleepy.
As for myself, I can't say for sure as I haven't really slept since 7 weeks pregnant. I am still only getting between 2-4 hours of sleep a night. I think there were 2 weeks since i was 19 weeks along where I actually managed 6-8 hours of sleep for awhile. It sure didn't last long enough. *siiiigh* Oh well. I won't be sleeping through the night for another 1.5 years anyway if this girl is anything like my son, heheh. (nursing wise) Something I wouldn't change for the world. :throb

I do! Yesterday, for the first time in awhile, I sat on the couch all day and read. I was just so tired and I kept getting these hot flashes. I'm hoping that I can make it through most of my third trimester without feeling yucky, but I think it's already starting.
I hope you feel better!

I'm tired, but I can't tell if it's because I'm not getting enough sleep (typical) or because it's 3rd trimester?? I'm certainly not as wiped out as I was at the beginning. I did take a day off to sleep last week, which was lovely!

I'm feeling quite tired today, but I think it has more to do with the insomnia. I can't seem to fall back to sleep after I get up to go to the bathroom at around 3 am. It figures. Ds is starting to sleep through the night again, but I can't! :irked:
