wow, just LOOK at all that dark hair -- gorgeous (rowan AND ava!) thanks for posting, she's a beaut. hope you are getting some rest. and that logistics work out okay tonight. i am seriously nervous about that myself since my two boys almost always gravitate to our bed, so... where does the baby fit in without getting smooshed (and will the boys wake with all the crying?) we'll muddle thru together right???

LOL i'm not leaving, don't worry!! i'm like a bad habit. hard to drop!!

tandem nursing is going really well so far! they've nursed at the same time several times...rowan likes watching Ava nurse...he said "hey! my milks!" a couple of times, but sort of in a playful way, not really a sad or jealous way. of course this is just the first day, and who knows what the future holds, but it's going MUCH better than i'd feared. :)

now bedtime...that's gonna be a different story, i think. :lol

kathleen - actually the carseat itself is brown and blue (my DS's old graco) but i got one of those car seat winter zip-up cover things in pink. totally transformed it into a girly seat. :woohoo and it keeps her super warm! :)

those ava pics were taken about 10 hours after she was born actually...right after the sponge bath, which is why she still looks wet. :lol
