Well, it finally happened . . . I was getting kicked like crazy while sitting on the couch, so I lay back and pulled up my shirt. And you can actually see baby movements from the outside now! Writhing and poking and lurching . . . :love DH is enthralled!

Hooray!!! Isn't that just the coolest?
My problem with dh is that, everytime he comes over and starts talking to Ben, he stops moving around. My husband has a really deep voice, and I think it soothes him or something. Either that, or he gets so bored with what dh has to say that he falls asleep...LOL.
What will we do after we deliver and can't sit around and touch our bellies for entertainment anymore? I guess there will be tons of exciting things that we are all about to witness!

I love that! I can't take my eyes off it while I'm bathing.
My babe has a sense of humor about sexual harassment training. She sat quietly all through a long meeting recently, but moved furniture in my belly throughout the s.h. presentation. I was starting to wonder if the people near me would be offended (harassed?) by my jumping stomach, which was clearly visibly moving if you happened to be looking at it. "Is that an elbow in your abdomen, or are you just happy to see me?" :lol

Hehehe!! Last night I was standing by the kitchen table & out kitty was snuggling up to my tummy while I was petting her & all of a sudden the baby kicked her right in the head!! The cat made that funny "Rrrrr" sound & ran away...it was too funny!! :lol

My placenta is right in the very front and all I ever get a little blips on the side or at the very top. I'm sure it will change and I'll wish I could get a little peace! Certainly no furniture moving or discernable body parts. Somehow the OB can detect where everything is by barely looking at me - he laid the doppler right on the heartbeat first try.

rmbzm: Your story made me laugh! Our cats (we have 4) have been showing an increased interest in my belly, and one in particular likes to sleep on it in when we are lounging on weekend mornings. Last Sunday we were relaxing and watching the Food Network and the cat settled down and started purring like crazy . . . and the baby kicked the cat right in the chest/belly. The funny thing was that the cat showed NO reaction at all! :lol

*sniffle* That story makes me miss our 3 kitties. :( They loved to cuddle up to my belly and one loved to be on my chest (drooling onto my neck, ick, hehe) and after baby was born, they all loved to lay in my lap while I was nursing and they'd purr so hard... baby would fall asleep and it would be me and all these kitties and my boy in the middle, literally surrounded in fur, and purrs, and love. :throb
