SHE is here!!!!!!! My full moon girl. UPDATED with pics

Samara Ann born at 4:01 am Thursday Dec. 15th. Exactly 41 weeks.

Had strong BH ctx throughout the day. At 9pm they started becoming patterened. Every 5 min, lasting 1 min each. Then at 11ish, every 3 min lasting 30 sec. I thought I was in false labor and got mad at Dh for calling the Dr. :lol Got in pool around 1 or 2?? Felt GREAT in the water! :thumb Pushed for about 30 min??? Don't really know, I have to check papers.

9lbs 14oz (wow!) :D

21 inches

14 1/8 inch head
14 1/8 inch chest

We're doing great, she LOVES nursing. Big Bertha is what my mom nicknamed her. :lol I only have a 2nd degree tear, but I'm feeling ok. Taking tylenol 3 for the afterpains (which are bad but not unbearably so). Big brother and big sister are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO in love with her. :love Mikayla helped cut the cord. And she is mommy's little helper.

Thanks for the cutest belly vote. :shy It's not so cute anymore. It's in that weird in between phase. The, I-still-look-preggo-so-better-not-go-out-in-public-just-yet-phase. Yeah, when my first Dd was 1 wk old, we went to Sears to get a vaccum. We left Dd with Grandma (it was like a 15 min outing) and the lady at sears asked me when I was due. I was SO embarassed...I said, "I actually just had my baby last week."

My tooth was feeling better, until last night, Samara decided she wanted to stay awake the WHOLE night and nurse. My gum swelled back up really bad. I've got to get to the dentist ASAP.

Yeah, this DDC does have a lot of BIG babies!

Nursing is really hurting. Don't know why. She's positioned correctly, latching on well. I got a blood blister on one nipple last night. OUCH! Nurse comes to our house tomorrow to check on us and I'll ask her about it. Milk has not come in yet, so my little chunker wants to nurse ALL the time....she's really waiting for that milk!

Stitches are hurting, but not too badly.

VERY tired. I've had about 3 hrs of broken up sleep in the past 65 hours. :zzz

Dh has been GREAT taking care of me. :love

I'll post birth story when after I get some sort of sleep.
