I am sending my registry out to a number of people who have asked for it and wondered if any of you have a stroller you absolutely love? I don't really need this for the new baby - but more for carrying our stuff when we go out as a family (and toting the olders when they get tired!). My requirements:

Must have a tall handle (both dh and I are very tall and hate reaching down for the ones we've had in the past)

Must be durable (for older kids who want a ride when their feet get tired!)

Must have a basket underneath for our stuff

A coffee/drink holder would be nice! LOL

Thanks!!

I love strollers. :throb

In your case, I would recommend the Peg Perego Aria, the Inglesina Swift (tallest handles I have seen yet!), or a Maclaren.

Only certain brands seem to have high handles. The Aria does have a cup holder for mama AND baby.
The Maclarens are beautiful strollers, too, but, they DO tend to be a bit tippy if you have bags on the handles and no kid sitting in there.

All of these are quite durable.

Thanks!! I'm going to go look at some of these tomorrow. I really liked the look and ease of the Maclaren's on line though.

I have a Maclaren Techno (4 years old) and love it, but alas, no cup holder. I've spilt more than one decaf extra foamy latte trying to wedge it upright in the folded-back canopy, LOL!! Ah, the trials of the yuppy mama, huh? :o Seriously though, I bought it b/c the handles were so comfy and the ride so smooth. And it's lasted great. Not sure what styles they're making today, but I think mine was a mid-range model (for Maclaren) at the time.

I just bought a maclaren techno--we went to babies r us for DS to test them all out and he chose the techno (in red, of course!)

DH is tall and loves it, and compared to the $10 umbrella stroller we had it's fantastic..but I haven't tried really packing the bottom yet. I did see that you can buy a snap on drink holder from prince lionheart? I think? I'm definitely in love with the stroller, which was super pricey but if DS will sit in it, worth it!!
