I started finding colostrum in my bra at like 5 weeks! Now it's full force, crusted on my nipples every time I look (TMI sorry) at 8 weeks! Is anyone else who isn't nursing now seeing this?
Jeez, I know I just stopped nursing a couple of months ago but boy is my body efficient!

Another reason I am not terribly happy about nursing right now -- Toddler Colostrum poop is sooooo gross and very hard for me to deal with when I am feeling nauseated!

Another one who is still nursing a toddler and not seeing any changes. I won't be surprised if it happens early, though. I was finding crusties by 14 weeks last time and had to wear pads by 20 weeks.

I stopped nursing in July and so far nothing. I didn't leak during pregnancy with Caleb at all and I remember being paranoid I wouldn't be able to produce enough milk for him. silly me ;)

No changes for me yet either, still see milk dripping from DS' mouth when he's done nursing. :)

This may be a stupid question, but how does colostrum differ from the regular milk (I'll find out personally in July when I BF)?

I am still producing plenty of milk there is just also colostrom I believe.
I noticed that his poos became much softer and stinkier and difficult to clean. I looked for info when his poo changed and found this
http://kellymom.com/nursingtwo/faq/16milkchanges.html
"Colostrum and stool changes in the older nursling
If your older nursling is getting a good quantity of colostrum (either before or after birth), the natural laxative effect of the colostrum may cause him/her to have looser and more frequent stools. The stools should return to normal once your colostrum is completely replaced with mature milk."
Now this is really not supposed to happen untill much later but this is what we have been seeing for at least three weeks.
Here is more info and FAQ's

Am I glad Sebastian is potty trained or what? :lol At least I can just toss it into the toilet. But he does poop like 4 times a day now!
Then I guess I am making collostrum too. I did noticed a drop in my supply though. He has been nursing so much, and my breast is not getting any bigger then usual.
