My ten-year-old ds came down with bumps and raised spots on his torso and arms last night. He hasn't eaten anything different, though we used a new laundry detergent on Friday. They disappeared quickly and then he developed new ones. This morning they were entirely gone.
Tonight they started to appear again, and when he went to bed his arms were covered, and he had spots on his face as well. After half an hour of cooling down (he'd been under a blanket) they are notably reduced.
We've got a trip planned for London tomorrow morning, and someone suggested it might be excitement or stress. Do those things really cause hives?
And what helps with the itching? Suggestions or stories about what you've experienced would be GREATLY appreciated!
Brittany (who is hoping ds feels better in the morning so we can be at the British Museum by tomorrow afternoon.:( )
