Well, I am pretty sure I am pregnant. No I am really sure that I am
pregnant. :lol My question or concern is that I have been getting positive
tests for the last 4 days, but the positive lines are staying very
light. When I was pg w/ ds I got 1 light line then the next day i
got a dark line. I am sort of worried, that something is wrong w/ the
pregnancy & my hormones are not rising properly. I tried to go the dr
for a test yesterday but it turned into a big mess. I am only about 4
1/2 weeks so maybe it is just too early. It just worries me because w/
ds I was already getting dark lines at this point. Has anyone else
had this happen?

Sometimes, depending on the lot of the test, the dye just never gives very dark lines. As far as I know though, the only real way to know is wait it out or get your Betas done so they can see if your numbers are doubling properly.

That happened to me, too. What kind of test are you using? I was using FRE and decided to throw the rest away because they were worrying me. My first test was light, second darker and third lighter 3 days later. I went out and bought a Walgreens brand test (needs a higher amount of hormones to show +) and decided that if it was +, then I had to stop testing and worrying. It showed + IMMEDIATELY and was very dark.

It can depend on how diluted your urine is at the time you test, too.

Both times I turned up pregnant I used the Clearblue Easy digital test. It just said, "Pregnant." Even a dork like me can't mess that up! :lol

I've just gotten faint +s, too. I'm thinking to test again this weekend maybe, if I can wait that long. I know I'm pg, but it would make me feel a little better to get one good dark +. I mentioned this in another post, I think...it's rare, but some women never show + w/ an hpt, so at least you got something. :D

Trust your body. Relax. Worrying only makes things worse. (Easier said than done, I know.) Retest in a week or so if your still concerned. But a faint + is still a +. :wink
