Hi, I finally found some clove oil today for my 3 mos. old who has 2 teeth. How doyou use it; ie. I just put some on my fingertip and rubbed the top of his teeth. I assume you just use a little? Just on the tops of the gums? How often do you use it; ie. just when he starts biting me?

Great idea-talked to someone who said he takes cloves camping in case someone gets a tooth ache. Wow-never knew any of this!

Do not use an essential oil undiluted on skin EVER.

I would put some in carrier oil like olive oil. Just put a few drops in some olive oil. Then I would dip a damp washcloth in that oil mix and freeze it. Let him pull that frozen washcloth through his gums.

be very very careful with the oil, it is highly concentrated and can cause burns.
