Chicken pox and pregnancy

ok My 21 month old I think has Chicken pox so of course Iam worried Iam 20 weeks and I have had them when I was small and a bad case do I still have to worry about it or will I be fine.

I would call your dr asap! If Im not mistaken the same virus that causes chicken pox also causes something else....or can be harmful to pregnancy. I could be wrong because my memory isnt the greatest these days but I though when I was in daycare there was an issue with chicken pox and one of the workers being pregnant. Better safe then sorry!

Gosh I just went through this yesterday. Call your Doc. We are fine, ds only has a slight case, he was vaccinated. I am okay but we will do a blood test next week to make sure. It can cause all kinds of things , but because I had them she said the risk was really really low. Hope this helps B

Thanks Ill call my ob office tomorrow. I hope I and the baby will be fine. Chloe was vaxed to and has a really mild case 10 poxs thats it.
