I feel like my turn has finally come (I am 20 weeks today)! When we went in the tech asked us if we wanted it to be a surprise or if we wanted to know the sex of the baby. As much as I would have liked to have been able to wait until birth, I knew I couldn't and told her so. I also told her that we would like to figure it out on our own without her just telling us what she thinks it is and she was very cool with that. In about 2 seconds we knew and dh and I looked at each other and said, "do you know?" We both announced that we thought it was a "GIRL" and the tech agreed. This was the best u/s I have had so far with all of my pregnancies because of how much we could see. And she probably gave us 8-10 pics which is far more than I have ever gotten.
My intuition was right....one more for the pink team!

I thought the technology was way better this time too! With my last pregnancy, just two years ago, it all looked like a blob. This time, I could make out all the body parts really easily, it was so cool! The tech even pointed out where she could see the lens of the eye. I'm having a girl too but I admit, I couldn't really guess that from the ultrasound. The absense of something is a little harder to discern. At least I could figure out where to look.
